Wednesday, October 31, 2012 Which Firms Get the Most Love From Advisors? American Funds may be having serious problems with outflows, but it still has the best relationship network of any mutual fund family. A least, so says a new survey of advisors, released today by Cogent Research. Sixteen percent of advisors surveyed said that they "feel the strongest connection" with American Funds. Franklin Templeton and BlackRock rounded out the top three. Cogent's Advisor Touchpoints 2012 survey also queried ETF producers on which firm has the strongest connection with advisors. BlackRock's iShares was the clear winner here, being named by 37 percent of the providers polled. The full release, with a link to the survey, is here.
