Tuesday, October 1, 2002 FRC Will List the 50 Best Places in America Bisys' Financial Research Corp. (FRC) has joined up with the Financial Information Group to better research the financial advisor channel. The first fruits of that alliance will be a report this month detailing where fund firms can find advisors. The two firms said that FRC will use data collected by Financial Information group and its Discovery tools to produce a series of reports on the registered investment advisor market. The first research report in the series, The 2002 Advisors to the Affluent, will be published in October. That report will look at independent RIAs managing $100 million or more and also highlight the 50 best metropolitan areas for targeting high-end advisors, ranked by total client assets and number of firms in each area.
