Pershing Grows its NTF Fund Platform

Pershing added AllianceBernstein and GE Asset Management to its FundVest platform two weeks ago, said Natalie Wolfsen, managing director of the product management and development group at Pershing, in an interview with The MFWire.

FundVest, Pershing's no-transaction-fee platform, now carries 13,653 funds from 204 fund families.

One fund family is set go live on the platform next week, said Wolfsen, who joined Pershing last July from Schwab.

"There are six others in the pipeline," she added.

Since October of last year, a total of eight fund families have been added to FundVest. Their addition boosted the fund count by 137 funds. (Also since October, there were 97 funds added from existing fund families on the platform.)

Besides AllianceBernstein and GE Asset Management, the other recent additions include Scout, AQR, Harding Loevner, Clough China Fund and Listed Private Equity.

In e-mailed comments to The MFWire, Mike Cosgrove, president and CEO of GE Asset Management wrote: "The addition of the GE Funds to the Pershing FundVest Platform allows us to expand our distribution capabilities to a wider group of financial advisors and RIAs."
