Monday, January 14, 2002 John Hancock Living Large John Hancock Funds is launching a new large-cap fund, the John Hancock Large Cap Spectrum Fund. The fund will invest in stocks across the large cap spectrum including growth, core, and value. 25% of the portfolio will be invested in value stocks, 50% in core, and 25% in growth. The firm has tapped a competitor, Alliance Capital Management, to manage the growth and value portions of the fund.
