Harbor Fund Goes Global

Harbor Fund launched the Harbor Global Equity Fund today. The no-load, value-oriented fund will invest in foreign securities and domestic companies with market capitalizations of at least $500 million.

Dan Jaworski, Pablo Salas, and Jon Sorensen of BPI Global Asset Management, based in Orlando, Florida, will co-manage the funds.

The new fund will have broader discretion than the older funds to allocate its assets. Harbor offers 12 funds, including five domestic equity funds, three international equity funds, and three fixed income funds, with combined assets of approximately $16 billion.
