Pimco's Distributor Taps Two ETF Sales Pros

Allianz Global Investors Distributors, which pitches Pimco and Allianz funds, recently hired Tom Donnelly as vice president, ETF sales specialist covering the East and Andy Revell as his Western counterpart. Both were previously with Claymore Securities, which was acquired by Guggenheim Partners last year.

At Allianz, Donnelly and Revell take on newly created posts and report to Steve Plump, head of mutual fund distribution.

Pimco threw its hat into the ETF ring last summer.

Donnelly joined Allianz on January 4; Revell's start date was February 1, Plump told The MFWire.

Another new face on Plump's team is Matt Carlisle, who joined in December as vice president, RIA consultant covering the Southeast. He was previously with American Funds.
