Thursday, January 28, 2010 Wellington's Marketing Maven Moves On Wellington Management's director of marketing services, Lisa Finkel, retired from the company at the end of last month, capping a Wellington career that spanned nearly two decades. Sara Lou Sherman now serves as Wellington's spokesperson. An auto e-mail response from Finkel directs people to Anne Mahoney for marketing matters. Sherman declined to comment. Finkel joined Wellington in February 1991 and became a partner in 1999. She was in charge of the company's external and internal communications activities. In addition, she devised a relationship management model that supports Wellington's sub-advisory clients. Boston-based Wellington sub-advises funds for Vanguard, Hancock, Transamerica and Hartford, among other firms. Prior to joining Wellington, Finkel worked at Fidelity for five years.
