Wednesday, December 23, 2009 FRC Eyes a Slice of the Big Apple Financial Research Corp. is looking to set up shop in New York City next year, said Bruce Fador, CEO of the Boston-headquartered firm. Fador told The MFWire that FRC -- which last year was acquired by Mercatus Partners from Citigroup -- plans to open an office in midtown Manhattan in "mid-2010 or maybe sooner." The New York office will be staffed by at least one research and one sales person. FRC currently has 24 employees, including three salespeople.
