Natixis' Sales Chief Shifts Roles

Matt Raynor, Natixis Global Associates' national sales manager, has moved on to a newly created post within the company. Raynor now runs the retirement strategies group, the formation of which was the subject of a press release issued by Natixis on Thursday morning.

His duties as national sales manager have been assumed by his three direct reports, Ed Farrington, Dan Santaniello and Josh Bogen, all of whom continue to sport the title of senior vice president of national sales. The trio now report to David Giunta, president and CEO of Natixis Global Associates.

"Matt has built a great team," Giunta told The MFWire. "We didn't see the need to bring in someone over them."

Raynor took the reins as national sales manager in 2006, and the firm's gross sales doubled to $28.5 billion in 2008 and assets serviced rose from $49 billion to $82 billion as of end-September of this year. He joined Natixis in 2004 as managing regional director.
