Monday, August 24, 2009 Turner Expands its Private Client Group Turner Investment Partners has tapped a relationship manager to woo broker-dealers and financial planning firms. The Berwyn, Pennsylvania-based mutual fund firm promoted Karl Zeller for the role, which includes encouraging the addition of Turner's mutual funds, separately managed accounts and alternative investments to those platforms. Zeller reports to Gary Ross, managing director of the Private Client Group, part of the firm’s Distribution Team. The promotion is part of an expansion of the group. Before the promotion, Zeller was a regional sales director in the group. Turner has hired both internal and external wholesalers as part of the expansion, according to Ross.
