SimCorp Throws Bash to Celebrate New Home

SimCorp USA is moving up and out in New York City. The company, established in New York in 2000, unveiled its new office to clients last night. The spacious new office, located at 17 State Street, is augmented by the clean lines of Danish design, a homage SimCorp's parent company SimCorp A/S located in Denmark.

The event was catered by renowned Scandinavian restaurant Aquavit, adding to the Danish theme of the night.

SimCorp's flagship product is the Dimension system, which supports all elements of the investment management process. The system allows managers to integrate the the entire workflow on a single platform and allows the investment management organization to access data that is continually updated in real time.

Recent converts to the SimCorp Dimension System include Nuveen investments and Janus Capital.

Virtues of the SimCorp system overheard at the party were the level of customization allowed by the system and the fact that the system was not U.S- centric, allowing easy conversions to other forms of currency.
