Franklin Sub Makes Changes at the Top

Fiduciary Trust Company International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Franklin Resources Inc., has tapped two new top executives. The firm named Henry P. Johnson as president and James C. Goodfellow as chairman.

Goodfellow takes over from Anne M. Tatlock, who will retire as chairman and CEO of Fiduciary Trust in Fall 2006 and who will continue to serve as a director of Franklin Resources, Inc. Goodfellow was vice chairman and head of Fiduciary Trust's High Net Worth business.

Johnson succeeds William Y. Yun, who will remain as president of Franklin Templeton Institutional and run the firm's institutional and separate account businesses. Johnson, who had been executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Fiduciary Trust, was also elected to the firm's board.

In addition, Gail E. Cohen, executive vice president and general trust counsel, will succeed Goodfellow as head of Fiduciary Trust's High Net Worth business in Fall 2006. Cohen currently supervises the firm's trust, estate and tax services departments.

Larry Sternkopf, chief financial officer, has been designated executive vice president replacing Cohen.
