PM Jumps From American Century

A shuffling of responsibilities is underway at American Century Investments triggered by the departure of a portfolio manager.

Matthew Hudson, who manages the Global Growth Fund, is resigning effective November 18 "to pursue another opportunity," the Kansas-based company said in a statement issued last week.

The Kansas City Star today reported that Hudson is planning to join an asset management firm in his hometown of Boston.

American Century has appointed two executives to fill his post. Keith Creveling, vice president and portfolio manager, will become co-manager of the Global Growth Fund and will continue to co-manage the International Growth Fund with Michael Perelstein. Helen O’ Donnell is promoted to Global Growth co-manager from senior investment analyst, a post she held since 2000.
