Darlene DeRemer, formerly a managing director at investment bank Putnam Lovell, has joined her ex-boss at a new rival startup.
DeRemer confirmed that she will become a partner at
Grail Partners, a new boutique investment bank started by
Donald H. Putnam, the former co-founder, chief executive officer and managing director at Putnam Lovell. Grail Partners, like Putnam Lovell, will also focus on transactions in the asset management business.
DeRemer will continue to be based out of Boston.
Putnam left the firm on February 1, reportedly over a conflict with NBF related to the firm's acquisition of Putnam Lovell.
