Ibbotson Associates appointed Dr. Peng Chen as the company's chief investment officer. He has been with the company since 1997, and he will continue to oversee the research group. In his new role, he will also set the company's asset allocation and investment decision-making processes.

Dr. Chen earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial management engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology and his master’s and doctorate in consumer economics from Ohio State University.
