A 23-year-old multinational's U.S. team is celebrating a big anniversary.

Yesterday, Joon Hyuk Heo, CEO of Mirae Asset Global Ivnestments' New York City-based U.S. business, trumpeted the 10-year anniversary of the Seoul-based asset manager's entrance into the U.S. That entrance included the launch of a pair of mutual funds — the Mirae Asset Emerging Markets Great Consumer Fund (MICGX) and the Mirae Asset Emerging Markets Fund (MILGX), which also reached their 10-year anniversary.

The anniversary also comes two years after Mirae bought an ETF shop in the U.S.
