Fundsters following the
Janus [
see
profile] prospectus lawsuit brought by Janus' (not its mutual funds')
shareholders may want to look at this morning's edition of the
Wall Street
Journal. The WSJ opines that the Supreme Court, which recently heard oral
arguments in
Janus Capital v. 1st Derivative Traders, should "stop this raid
on the rule of law" by not allowing investors to sue the mutual fund firm for its
$100 million suffering under the market timing settlement in 2004.
