Mutual Funds Against Cancer has a new name. Founder and chairman Frank Strauss told 500 attendees gathered at last Thursday's 7th Annual Expect Miracles Wine & Spirits Charity Event in Boston that MFAC is changing its name to Expect Miracles Foundation –- Financial Services Against Cancer.

The rechristening reflects the fact that the non-profit's supporters come from the broader financial services industry, not just the mutual fund space.

"With the same heart and the same mission, the new brand identity of Expect Miracles Foundation - Financial Services Against Cancer will empower the entire financial community to support and partner in our mission," Strauss said in a press release on Monday.

Officials of the non-profit organization expect the transition to the new name and brand identity to be complete in January.
