Fund distribution company and compliance specialist Foreside Financial has created a new company homepage, which went live earlier this month.

"We wanted to put a fresh look on our web presence while at the same time makes navigation more friendly for those who visit. The cost involved represents a substantial commitment by Foreside to enhance our web user experience and to get the message out that we have expanded our personnel roster as well as our service capabilities," David Whitaker, Foreside's chief operating officer, told The MFWire.

Foreside spent six months working internally on the site's content and building it with the help of an outside developer. The timing of the virtual launch lines up with the opening of a new compliance office in Jersey City.

The office is run by Foreside's managing director Myles Edwards and will have a particular focus on the alternative investment advisory space and broker-dealer consulting, according to Whitaker. The office will cater to the company's New York, New Jersey and Connecticut clients.

The company is headquartered in Portland, Maine and currently has an office in Boston and is planning a new office in Chicago. In the past year, Foreside added several compliance staffers in the Boston office, which now houses three compliance and four distribution personnel.
