MFS Investment Management has launched a new website, www.mfs.com. The new site utilizes the Dynamo e-Business Platform from Art Technology Group, Inc. (ATG).

This move unifies all of the firm's old websites -- previously numbering 14 -- as one online portal. "Depending on what type of user you were, we sent you to four or five password protected URLs, which was very confusing for users. We chose ATG Dynamo because of its proven platform for building CRM initiatives. The open architecture of ATG Dynamo makes it easy for us to customize information for our users and quickly add new functionality to the site," stated said Jerry Potts, senior vice president of marketing and communications for MFS.

MFS customers will now have access to "My MFS.com" (an investor education center) and MFS Interactive (a streaming media showcase that will have both recorded and live sessions with industry experts on important financial topics).

The firm is also launching a content syndication feature designed for its business partners. Content that appears on MFS's website will be made available to alliance partners' Internet and Intranet sites as well.
