Marshall & Ilsley Corporation has acquired the trust operations of First Indiana Bank. The unit, FirstTrust Indiana, will be integrated with M&I's Wealth Management unit, according to a news releaserelease.

FirstTrust administers approximately $1 billion in assets for high-net worth individuals and institutional customers. M&I Wealth Management provides trust, asset management, brokerage and private banking services.

M&I expects all of FirstTrust's employees to join the firm. M&I will serve FirstTrust's customers from a new Indianapolis office.
