Lord Abbett's Mid-Cap Value and Small-Cap Value funds will be closed to new retirement plan and advisory account investors effective July 29, 2005, reports Morningstar. The $9.9 billion Mid-Cap fund was closed to new non-retirement plan investors in late September of 2003, while the $2.1 billion Small-Cap Value fund was similarly closed to new retail investors in 2001.
