New York City CIO Donna K. Gilding will join Liberty's Progress Investment Management Company. Her arrival at the San Francisco firm marks the departure of current CIO Clayton Jue, who left to pursue other interests. Gilding will take over as CIO for $4 billion multi-manager specialist after leaving the New York City Comptroller's Office where she oversaw five pension funds with $85 billion in assets. Jue had held the position since the firm's 1990 founding.



Those seeking rollover assets from employees working at companies that are terminating a retirement plan can now surf to FreeErisa.com. The Website is now listing a database of IRS Form 5310 filings. This form must be filed when a qualified defined contribution or defined benefit plan decides to terminate a plan. FreeErisa.com is run by Washington DC-based Judy Diamond Associates. The data is shown in two separate files titled "Open" for firms that have not received IRS permission to terminate and "Closed" for those which have.
