American Skandia has announced six new variable investment portfolios to broaden its insurance product lineup:

Kinetics Internet Portfolio

Gabelli All-Cap Value Portfolio

Scudder Japan Portfolio

Federated Aggressive Growth Portfolio

Janus Strategic Value Portfolio

Lord Abbett Bond-Debenture Portfolio

Among the portfolios being added to the product is one based one the once high-flying and nw struggling Internet sector.

"Peter Doyle, our chief investment strategist, is not dismayed by recent downturns in the internet technologies market," said Brooke Connell, Kinetics Asset Management's Senior Vice President of business development. Because of the Internet Fund's investment strategy, Kinetics remains confident of the relationship, which had originally been sought out by American Skandia.
