MainStay Management, Inc., the New York Life owned advisor to the MainStay Funds, announced that Thomas Tyler has been promoted to national sales manager for MainStay's independent financial advisor channel.

Sales Manager Promoted at MainStay

Tyler, 35, is replacing Glen Blackstone who left the firm. Under his new position Tyler will be overseeing the national sales staff responsible for all independent advisor fund distribution. He has been with MainStay since its inception in 1986.

Prior to the promotion, his most recent title was Eastern regional sales manager. No replacement has been found for his former position.
