Citigroup will not let go of Financial Research Corp., a Bisys subsidiary, when its acquistion of The Bisys Group closes later this year, according to a Reuters report. There has been speculation in the market that Citi might sell FRC when the deal closes. But on Friday, a Citi official told Reuters that Citi will keep FRC. "It's a hot property and a property that we will maintain because of its need in the industry," Andrew Smith, head of Citi's North America funds and securities services, was quoted as saying.
